COLE VALLEY RESIDENCE

In collaboration with Jensen Architects, this high end residential project in Cole Valley, San Francisco exhibits a great example of a typical SF urban garden with a small footprint on multi-levels.

The landscape design reflects an intimate space inspired by Asian and Zen style gardens with a strong focus on responding to the natural topography of the site. A series of earth mounds ripple down the hillside and redirect surface water runoff to planting areas. These areas resemble undulating mountains depicted in traditional Chinese landscape paintings.
