Over nearly 30 years, Andrew Sullivan has designed and completed an extensive range of project sizes and types, from intimate gardens to campuses, parks and plazas. His work is rooted in the belief that beautiful design and environmentally sensitive creation of place contribute to healthy and prosperous environments.

Andrew’s work is site-specific, collaborative and innovative. Through active listening, he is able to resolve project challenges and develop designs that respond to each site in a unique and genuine way. He seeks to create human-scaled experiences, regardless of project size or type. His work explores people’s relationship to nature, and fosters a connection to the environment and between the built and natural. By creating engaging spaces, Andrew’s approach promotes a lasting and evolving connection between people and the places they live.

Andrew’s experience includes a broad spectrum of project types: from urban design and master planning, to the detailed design and construction of small private gardens and large public spaces. In particular, Andrew has successfully managed and led large multi-faceted teams, and delivered complex and layered projects to diverse user groups. Andrew is extremely adept with projects of a significant scale while addressing multiple stakeholders. He works in a collaborative and transparent manner that builds consensus, improves project flow and overall design, and insures success.

In addition to his role as project designer, team leader and client manager, Andrew has extensive history in guiding the growth and development of firms. He has helped lead strategic planning, business development, hiring and general office management efforts throughout his career.
